“In a world…”
..where decency and humanity appear consistently under attack, its nice to know visual media can remind us of the best of ourselves and our potential. For over 50 years Gene Roddenberry’s utopian future has served as “more than just a tv show”—a visual representation of a world of equality, diversity and peace ✌️

Dr. Burton has been a Star Trek fan since the television series’ first run in 1966. For past 20+ years, she has spoken around the country on Star Trek themes, including to UU congregations and at Star Trek conventions. She has participated in Star Trek writing workshops and even vacationed on Star Trek cruise-vacations! Ann has had the privilege to speak in person with many Star Trek actors, writers, producers and script coordinators, including Gene Roddenberry’s personal assistant, Richard Arnold.
