We have some great activities in store for you this year, starting with some of our regular events with a special twist.

Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 1pm, Sunday Assembly Detroit hosts its first assembly of the year at Exferimentation Brewing Co’s recently expanded meeting space in Pontiac. Come on out and turn your world upside down with “New Year’s Revolution”:
- Why do we have the tides?
- Can you make or break you weight resolutions by traveling to Antarctica?
- Are gyroscopes really magic?
- What do baseballs, cannons, and toilets have in common?
- How to win a bar bet with your phone.
We host a Skype meeting once each week to catch up and plan future events. These meetings are oddly fun. Come and help us put this thing together.

Wine with TED “Right or Wrong?”
What do you most yearn for? Do you yearn to do defend your own beliefs or do you yearn to see the world as clearly as you can?” At Wine with TED this month, we discuss the causes of our beliefs and what it would take to change them.

One of our favorite events, Wine with TED, is back for the New Year. Former President, Keon Walker, is hosting this one at his home very likely for the very last time as it is pending sale. Keon has hosted dozens of events at this very inviting home along Clinton River in Pontiac, and it’s always a special place to meet.
Just a couple more spots available for our volunteering effort at Gleaner’s Food Bank in Detroit this month.
